What MyBento costs
What moves the price
Two things: how many people are on the platform, and which modules you switch on. Pricing is flexible rather than fixed to a rate card, so where a business lands in that range depends on the shape of what it actually needs.
Broadly, it builds up like this.
Leave management and approvals, payroll sync, onboarding and offboarding, an employee directory, remuneration and payslips, and a document vault.
Claims and reimbursement management with approvals, budgets you configure per expense type, and a Xero integration for accounting.
Origination and administration across retirement and savings, medical aid and insurance, employee assistance, and wellbeing, plus integrating the benefits you already offer.
What the subscription is not
The subscription pays for the platform. What you contribute toward your employees' actual benefits is separate, entirely yours to set, and can be nothing at all.
MyBento handles a wide variety of employer contribution rules, down to per-product and per-employee level, including zero employer contribution. Plenty of clients run MyBento as a way for staff to access and manage benefits they fund themselves.
Already have benefits or a broker?
That does not change the pricing, and you do not have to switch anything. MyBento is provider agnostic: existing benefits can be integrated, and an existing broker or advisor can be brought onto the platform with their profile, contact details and fees published inside it.
Questions people ask first
No. There is no setup fee and no implementation fee. Onboarding is part of what you are paying for, and we walk you through it.
No. Terms are flexible and so is cancellation. We would rather earn the renewal every month than hold anyone to a year they regret.
Headcount is counted at the start of each month, and that is what you are charged for that month. Nobody joining mid-month triggers an extra charge. If the team grows we grow with you, and if it shrinks the bill comes down with it.
The platform, the payroll integration, onboarding, and support. What you contribute toward your employees' benefits is separate and set entirely by you.
